Akihiko Wakabayashi offers counseling and energy (ki) healing based on more than 25 years of combined experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM).

Ki is Energy

Akihiko Wakabayashi is the director of the Ki Health Center of Tokyo. From 1987-1997 he worked at Akahigedo, one of Tokyo's leading Eastern medicine clinics for difficult diseass. At Akahigedo, he received his basic and advanced acupuncture, shiatsu, TCM, and Taoist philosophical training from Dr. Nobuyuki Takeuchi and Dr. Jinde Yao, and his kampo (Chinese herbal medicne) traiining from Dr. Genichi Sato. He has written extensively about Eastern medicine, harmonious living, and healing in his monthly newsletters (published since September 1997) and in his book: Disease is a Message, (Kenyukan Publishers). "Aki," as he is known to his Western friends abroad and in Japan, has delivered lectures on health overseas, including the ISS University in The Hague, at Findhorn Foundation in Scotland, at Duke University School of Medicine in North Carolina.
